We are a volunteer-driven nonprofit and rely on generous people all over the world to help make everything happen. While we gladly accept people of all ages and all abilities, we do not accept court-mandated volunteers.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES:
Special Events & Fundraising
If you are creative, energetic or enjoy planning events, we need you! We are looking for people to help come up with fundraising event ideas and coordinating these events. Due to COVID-19, we are looking for help with virtual events. Smaller jobs may include selling event tickets, gathering silent auction items, promoting the event and assisting at the event (virtually).
Collection Drives
We love working with schools, companies and organizations to help us raise money to support our programs. We also need volunteers to oversee collection drives for specific items to be distributed to pediatric facilities. We can provide flyers for your collection.
Junior Ambassadors
Students of any age can be a Kayla Cares 4 Kids Junior Ambassador! We will help you with a collection of specific items and coordinate the donation to a local facility near you. We have worked with schools, churches/synagogues, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts.
Office Helpers (Currently on hold due to COVID-19)
Help us with sorting the many donated items we receive. We do quality control and place stickers on every item. You can help us with making phone calls and following a script, as well as packing boxes to send to pediatric facilities.
Visitors/Crafters (Currently on hold due to COVID-19)
If you are looking for hands-on experiences, join us in visiting local pediatric facilities where we do arts and crafts with the patients.
Social Media Helpers
If you enjoy using and are knowledgeable with Instagram, YouTube, twitter, Facebook and more, we would love to have your help! It includes posting, hashtags, tagging, and increasing followers.
Youth Advisory Council
Gain leadership skills, meet caring students from a variety of area schools, help steer the organization in completing its mission, earn community service hours and other local and national recognition. It will look great on a college application or resume!
