Our Amazing Programs
We have numerous programs to help fulfill our mission of helping sick kids feel better through entertainment and education at children’s hospitals, Ronald McDonald Houses and other pediatric facilities nationwide.
Boxes of Sunshine
We find out exactly what each facility needs and we deliver. We mail or hand deliver items, including DVD players, Game Consoles, video games, movies, puzzles, board games and books.
Craft Time
We regularly visit local facilities that treat sick kids and bring plenty of crafts for them and their siblings! Our amazing student volunteers supervise the activities.
Virtual Fun
Kayla and student volunteers provide fun virtually – making crafts, reading a book, stretching or playing a game. We utilize YouTube, Facebook and Insta @kaylacares4kids
Interviews
Kayla loves to interview doctors, parents and kids regarding medical issues in an effort to educate others. Her interviews have aired on radio stations and social media. No medical issue is too complicated for her. Wanna be interviewed?
Public Speaking
Kayla speaks to all age groups – young and old. She has done it all – speaking to 1,000 attendees at the U.S. Chamber Small Business Summit; school classrooms; Kiwanis groups; etc. Invite her to speak at your next event!
Advocacy
Kayla and her family are active with the Arthritis Foundation, Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation and National Org. for Rare Disorders, and regularly communicate with state and federal lawmakers regarding bills and funding.
