If you’re too busy getting to the polls before they close, you can still watch local students compete for real startup money for their businesses in a ‘shark tank’-style panel tonight.

Students from the Young Entrepreneur’s Academy! will pitch their business ideas to local business leaders/owners on an Investor Panel at the Lifelong Learning Society Auditorium of Florida Atlantic University’s Jupiter campus starting at 6 p.m.

The students will have five minutes to present their business plan to a panel of investors. The investors will then choose who to award start-up capital and to advance as the YEA! Saunders Semi-Finalist from the Palm Beach North area. That student and their business will move onto a regional competition for a chance to compete in the final round in Washington, D.C., at America’s Small Business Summit.
