Maribeth Lenz was born in New Jersey but considers herself an “Honorary Native” Floridan as she has lived in Palm Beach County since she was two years old. She has three children and two grandchildren.
She has been the Director of Business & Finance at The Weiss School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida since 1999. She was employed by the Palm Beach County School Board from 1986-1999 at Lantana Middle School and Duncan Middle School as a Data Processor.
Maribeth is an active community member who serves on many different local non-profit organizations. She is very active with Kiwanis Division 20. She is a Past Lieutenant Governor for Division 20. She is a member and Past President of the Palm Beach Gardens Kiwanis Club, currently serving on the Board of Directors. She is also an active and founding member of the Wellington Kiwanis Club. These groups are important to her as she is very dedicated to fulfilling their mission which empowers members to pursue creative ways to serve the needs of children through local service projects and fundraising.
She is on the Advisory Board of Chariots of Love (formerly Caps of Love.) Their mission is to provide free wheelchairs, and wheelchair repairs, to handicapped children in the USA under the age of 21. She is also on the Board of Directors as Treasurer for her Church’s Council of Catholic Women (CCW) and a Facilitator for its Grief Support Group.
