Arty Falk

Board Member Arty Falk is a career educator who also has great ties to our local business community.  Growing up in New York, he graduated from SUNY at Stony Brook with an environmental science degree and went on to a masters in education from Hofstra University. After starting as a elementary special education teacher in Brooklyn, he moved to Florida in 1980 to be a science teacher at Palm Beach Gardens Community High School.  In 1988, he was selected to be the pilot site coordinator of a new career program.  A few years later, he became the coordinator of the Five Star Magnet Program.  After getting a Masters in Educational Leadership from Florida Atlantic University, he capped off a 36 year career at PBGCHS as the Adult Education director.

Arty has always thought that community relationships are important. He is currently on the board of: Kayla Cares 4 Kids, The 5 Star Magnet Program, and Junior Achievement of the Palm Beaches.   He has also been a long-standing member of the education committee of the Palm Beach North Chamber of Commerce and is still the business partnership coordinator for PBGCHS.

Arty has two children who grew up in Palm Beach County and went on to graduate from the University of Central Florida. They currently live together in Brooklyn.
