Kayla Cares 4 Kids Treasurer Allison Francis is the Director of Finance and Administration for a local $3 million non-profit social service organization.
She is responsible for fiscal and administrative management of the agency, which includes organizing, overseeing and the day-to-day operations of all fiscal, human resource, information technology, asset management and support functions of the agency. Francis is also responsible for the management of administrative operations during the absence of the Chief Executive Officer.
Francis has a distinguished 15-plus year career directing finance and accounting operations and key projects. She is an analytical and results-driven leader, with a successful track record of leading and managing accounting teams, process improvements and financial reporting for complex, multi-site organizations.
She spent six years at Airamid Health Services/ Kane Financial Services LLC, in West Palm Beach, Florida, where she worked her way up to Accounting Manager for the $1 billion healthcare company, which operates skilled nursing homes and related businesses. Here, she was responsible for the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close and reporting process for 90 skilled nursing facilities. This included the preparation of the financial statements, account reconciliations and audits, with a staff of eight senior accountants and one junior accountant.
Francis also served for seven years as a Senior Accountant for Richard Harris & Associates in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, a public CPA firm with more than 200 corporate clients and over 500 individual clients. She began her career as a Staff Accountant at King and Lenson CPA’s in Boca Raton, Florida, which serviced more than 125 corporate and over 250 individual clients.
Francis earned a Masters Degree in Accounting from the University of Phoenix and holds a Bachelors Degree in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University.
