FLORHAM PARK – Two businesses in the borough are partnering with a not-for-profit to brighten the lives of hospitalized children.
“Kayla Cares 4 Kids” collects PG and PG13 DVDs, electronics, entertainment and education items and books for delivery to children in 84 hospitals in all 50 states. Collection sites in Florham Park have been set up at the Florham Park Diner at 182 Ridgedale Ave. and the Florham Park Starbucks at 184 Columbia Turnpike.
To date the not-for-profit has delivered 10,000 items to children’s hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses nationwide.
Other collection sites in the area include the East Hanover Starbucks at 405 Route 10 East, and the East Hanover Diner at 275 Route 10 East.
