North Palm Beach Teen Behind Kayla Cares 4 Kids Wins National Competition (The Palm Beach Post)

Kayla Abramowitz’s compassion for hospitalized children keeps paying dividends.

The 13-year-old North Palm Beach girl won the Young Entrepreneurs Academy’s final competition in Washington, D.C., Tuesday for her leadership of Kayla Cares 4 Kids. The non-profit organization she founded donates entertainment and educational items to children’s hospitals and Ronald McDonald Houses around the country.

Abramowitz scored support for Kayla Cares 4 Kids and a $30,000 scholarship in the YEA Saunders Scholars Finals Competition, according to the North Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce.
